bcubed Apparently the language that the ref used that Chelsea players are complaining about is
You're booked
And
That's two bookings you're off

If it is trivial as that Chelsea as a club will get even more slaughtered as a club by fans and dignatries etc alike.

There is not a cat in hells earth that Clattenburg will utter any racist comments and rumours to suggest otherwise are just laughable.

Perhaps what Clattenburg said was, "I didn't call you a Spanish twat."

If Clattenburg is of Chelsea's allegations guilty, then he will get a 4 match ban and a fine equivilent to a week's wages.

If he isn't, then Chelsea FC will have to eat a LOT of humble pie otherwise they may find officials refusing to officiate at their matches.

I am sick of Chelsea. It's a shame someone like Jon Fearn has to work with the biggest bunch of pcunts on the planet. Offside? Boo-hoo, at least it was marginal instead of being clear daylight like Torres against us. Ivanovic was a proper easy decision, "accidental" contact or not, and Torres was lucky to still be on the pitch to get sent off at that point after trying to decapitate Cleverly. I always quite liked RDM before, but he's caught the Chelsea bug now and is just a pcunt like all the rest. Now they're going after the ref? If he did decribe Terry as a racist, how can that be inappropriate?

Di Matteo "We are massively disappointed that these key decisions were wrong. It always seems to be in favour of the opposition."

Whilst it pains me to sympathise with Chelsea, Torres was fouled when he was sent off. Furthermore, although it isn't in the letter of the law, players tend top get more benefit of the doubt if already booked, furthermore, teams tend to get the benefit of the doubt when they are already down to ten men particularly in a big game.

I can confidently state I will be long dead before a comparable decision is made against Man Utd at Old Trafford. Chelsea are right to be furious. However, they are mad to make this complaint, they would be far better complaining about his fitness to referee as his is not competent (or bent). What they have done has no possible upside for Chelsea and an almost guaranteed downside for future games

This, don't really see Torres making the most of the slightest of touches was that much different from Ashley Young making sure he went flying.

But they could be instantly proved wrong on that. Officials have 2 full fitness tests a season which are pretty hardcore and if failed they can't ref. they wear heart monitors every game and must complete a set work out each midweek at the gym of which both results are sent off to be analysed. If their fitness levels are not good then it is picked and worked on instantly, on occasions having to miss games to fix it.

He should have had a straight red in the first half anyway so it all even itself out in the end.

He can be fouled, and at the same time dive and thus deserve a yellow.

Excellent decision from the ref.

Sterling did one of those I thought he was lucky to get away with, after getting lightly clipped by Osman.

The 3 The ironic thing is 3 of the worse decisions all weekend were by the ASSISTANTS but they seem to not get named and "shamed"

Arsenal and Man U winners and Suarez "winner"

I don't think he means physically fit to referee...

I don't think that's quite true Baines, I think simulation is only a cautionable offence when the player trying to fake a foul. Torres is clearly fouled here but goes down a bit easily.

If refs gave fouls a bit more consistently without players hitting the deck then we might just see less of these theatrical reactions to fouls.

Consistency is as ever the key and hardly ever achieved

Personally I think trying to decide if it is a dive and booking players is too difficult and noone wants to see games against ten players( or nine!) So why not ignore any reaction that looks like a dive and dont give a free kick. Just wave play on if it looks like a dive and maybe they'll stop

We seem to have forgotten what it looks like to fall over naturally when fouled. Perhaps refs need to reacquaint themselves with this by watching football from the seventies!

This.

Contact does not equal foul. Clear simulation, excellent decision.

Chelsea better be able to prove their allegations or they are going to be on the end of the mother of all slander claims.

I cannot think of a single example in the history of football, in any country in the world, where a player has been booked for diving and was simultaneously given a free kick for the foul committed on him.

If Clatters thought it was a foul, he'd have given Chelsea a free kick, he didn't and was wrong.

Whether they can prove their claims or not, (I suspect not), Chelsea will have totally alienated all referees (who seem a bit of a clique and will support their colleague whether he's right or wrong) and will suffer the consequences all season.

Its not as if Chelsea have any sort of track record in making false accusations about a referee after a game that they have lost, is it?
