Sutekh I see the predictable Arsenal bus has arrived. Looking forward to the inevitable spectacle being ruined by one side playing for set pieces and random VAR comedy. Mind you with Konate playing it could be

Yeah, thought I would wait before replying to your penalty comment above and see what crazy VAR decision would go for/against LFC

It’s pretty awful fare. Liverpool, despite all their forward might, have a midfield divorced from their attack and seem content to just sit back and avoid shooting at all costs while Arsenal’s players throw themselves to the ground at every opportunity. Referee is the usual inconsistent waste of space. Gravenberch booked immediately he runs into a player, meanwhile Zubimendi is fouling all over the place and doesn’t get a booking.

It's a bit harsh on Gravenberch, but you're gonna get booked for bringing down a player that is past you.

Passing back to your keeper when you're 1 down in the 89th minute and bringing on 15 year olds. ArsenaLOL are not a serious football club.

Arteta tried to close the game down and failed, unlikely to win anything with so much “anti-football” tactics. No Saka and it’s all play to win set pieces.

So frustrating. Clearly the better team but it’s always safety first.

Same old….

Arteta is becoming the PL’s equivalent of Southgate in international football. Excellent manager in many ways but his approach to the big games means he just isn’t going to be a winner.

There was a “statement win” to be had yesterday but no, they are unable to seize the big moments because their approach is always “don’t lose” before “let’s go out and win”.

It's not like Arsenal didn't have chances. Not taking those isn't a symptom of 'don't lose'. Arteta's record against the rest of the big six is excellent. Disagree with Sutekh - Arsenal totally shut Liverpool down in the first half, and for much of the second. Was only after the attacking subs - Odegaard and Eze - that the game opened up.

Absolute worldie of a free-kick from Szobozslai, worthy of winning any match. And then the internet shows me he has done it before, for Hungary. World class. And arguably their best player so far this season, filling in at right back.

a thing I hate in modern day football - something happens in a game over the weekend, or someone high profile at least claims it happens, it gathers legs over the Sunday, it gets expanded out further, by Monday its now taken as fact that it happens, and in fact is a widespread thing and we all just have to take it as the accepted narrative now

The Arsenal excuse train is pulling in at platform 1.

David Raya as to why he didn't save the free kick. He's used to Nike balls, not Puma balls.

Not like you've had all pre season to train with Puma balls.
