Stranded Jesse Marsch fired by Leeds.

On the BBC Sports website, it mentioned a report (ok, in the Daily Mail....) that the West Brom boss, Carlos Corberan, is in line as the replacement for Marsch....after just 16 games in charge there! :o

Is he getting mentioned for any reason other than he was coaching at Leeds when Biesla was there? tbf he's done a decent job in those 16 matches at West Brom.

I really do t get leeds. From what I can see they have a net spend of 47mill since returning to the prem. they have a big stadium a little bit of investment there they could easily be a top half team again and probably knocking in the lower European places.

The stadium needs more than a little bit of investment. Only one stand worth keeping. But there's more than enough room around it for a really nice stadium to be built. But its will require hundreds of millions and we all know what happened last time the decided to spend big. Bielsa did a Coppell and was far too loyal to the players that got them promoted and they've been paying the price since the start of last season.

That'll just be based on being in the Premier League though won't it. Strip that out after relegation and where would they be? Leeds must be the biggest city with a single league club, it really should be able to bring a lot of money in.

Despite spending a small fortune for a little club in the January transfer window I can't see Gary O'Neill lasting much longer.

The cocky new American owner GUARANTEED that they won't get relegated this season so I presume he will want to save face some time soon especially with the next fixtures being at home to the returning Eddie Howe (although Guimares is suspended), away to improving Wolves then at home to Man City and then away to Arsenal.

Ain't that the truth. The two ends aren't so bad (although the South Stand that backs onto Elland Rd is a bit tatty) but the John Charles Stand is a relic from the 1950s and looks it's age.

Yep a lot of the ground feels like it's ancient, but it's in a good spot for redevelopment which is what it needs really. They won't struggle to sell out tickets.

It'll be interesting to see who Leeds go for next, I can imagine it will be someone in a similar mould to Bielsa/Marsch though.

As much as I don't like them, I'll give the club credit for having a philosophy and sticking with it. Managers that demand a high intensity of play and they are bringing in players incrementally to make that change. It might mean for the next couple of seasons they keep this seasonal managerial change, but I feel at some stage, if they can continue to add a couple of players and keep hold of their better ones, they will begin to improve.

I liked JM, Leeds were good to watch. They certainly didn't deserve to lose yesterday at Forest. Leeds biggest problem is relying on one unfit, out of form striker. Create loads of chances, but don't score.....wouldn't be a bad choice for us if we decide to kick on in the summer and the current chap stands down.

Why?

Outside of the Grimsby result they are fourth and Edwards is obviously doing well there.

Cardiff would be most likely if they weren't such a mess.

Bowen is a big fan apparently...

Some extreme differences in opinion from the bookies as to who the next Saints manager will be.
If I were them I would go for an organiser such as Benitez or Allardyce as a team can be functional and get a few valuable points for a short period (time to get out of the relegation zone) with the organising type of manager in control.

I expect them to go for somebody completely different..........................and get relegated.
Some of my Saints mates are already talking about playing us again and no doubt the Bournemouth ones will shortly as well.
Ideal for me to have a couple of local away fixtures again rather than Burnley and Sheffield.
