soggy biscuit AVB - only here for the Lolz

Yesterday showed how gr8 we can be. Now to find consistency. And LOL @ Pardew on Goals on Sunday - whinging about the Luiz decision. Didn't see him moaning last week when his side were gifted a point at Old Trafford.

sandman Didn't score though.

It was only an assist because he managed to get the ball away to a teammate after he'd f@cked up another good scoring chance, no? Confidence totally shot, i think there will have to be a change in boss before this one turns around, if it ever does.

He's on his third manager in less than a year (when did Rafa get the boot, 'cos it could be four) - none of them have made any difference.

He looks like the proverbial rabbit in the headlights

Seriously? Being saved by a poor referring decision because you're still playing liability-Luiz? And how many times did Newcastle hit the woodwork? That's the best Chelsea are going to produce this season is it?

We won 3-0 m8. And Sturridge had at least 5 other good chances, plus the penalty miss. All against the one of the most difficult teams at home to score against. 8)

PS, that's what the woodwork is for. We also hit it twice.

It was a good attacking performamce, I agree. Things will have to improve overall if Chelsea are going to finish top 4 though. I can't see you picking up many points against the others in contention defending like that.

Because they were probably running across the pitch towards the away end

oh yeah, forgotten about those days

Shame that ...and holding an offensive stick of celery too

and there was silly me actually thinking it was Chelsea fans printing flags with some spirited irony of their 1980's non-Russian owned past

Through luck, and poor referring

But no, you're doing just fine. Luiz isn't funny at all.

someone answer this for me, on sky they are saying a 0-0 will only be good enough if the germans avoid defeat in Genk, so if that does happen surely Chelsea will win the group , all 3 teams will be on 9 points but have better head to heads against both the spanish and the germans (2-0 and 1-2 germans) (1-1 away and 0-0 home spanish)

i just found this, none the wiser TBF

There has been a bit of confusion about this - and I may be about to upset quite a few Chelsea fans. Despite widespread reports that a 0-0 draw will be enough to send Chelsea through, it won't be if Bayer Leverkusen lose. That is because Leverkusen, Chelsea and Valencia will then all be on nine points in Group E, creating a mini-league in which the trio's results against Genk are disregarded and in which Leverkusen top the group ahead of Valencia who have scored one more goal than the Blues. In the eventuality of a Bayer Leverkusen defeat, only a Chelsea win will see them through. If Bayer Leverksuen win or draw, however, Chelsea can go through with a win or a 0-0. Got that? No? My brain hurts.
