Wasn't O'Driscoll behind the scenes at Forest last year? Assumed he would take on the role after they eventually gave Cotterill the boot.

Been confirmed as Forest's new boss.

Good appointment but strange that they sacked Cotterill cos they wanted an iconic manager!

Although i wonder if he'll still be in a job come Christmas if they're not near the play-offs?!........i mean he's got less than a month to get them playing decent football and they've lost 2 of their best players from last year, when they struggled.

Surely even in the insane world of football no board is going to sack a manager who has led a club to two successive promotions for losing to three of the top four sides in the country and replace him with a man who has admitted in a court of law that he can’t read, write or send a text message properly?

It's been doing the rounds down here since the summer.
At the moment 'arry is doing a bit of consultancy work at Bournemouth where Paul Groves is the manager and was a coach under Redknapp at Portsmouth.
Locals think that 'arry will take over at Bournemouth soon but there's not enough money there and,although convenient,I think he'll want a much higher standard.
