Winston Biscuit

Winston Biscuit Casemiro to Utd for €70M being reported as done pending a medical

Struggling to see what the lad gets out of this move tbh.

Double his current salary.

Does it really make that much difference when you factor in all the sponsorship money they get on top of wages anyway?

Trying to be fair to him, he has maybe 6-7 years left of a career which allows him to live in pretty any any country he chooses, after that his options will begin to get limited and if he opts out of coaching/managing then a few years on and his options are even more limited. Maybe he knows this and just wants to experience things now while it's easy to do so.

I can also appreciate that winning the same things with the same team over and over could lose some of its appeal.

6/7 years left
Do you mean six sevenths of a year ?

He’s already 30 and he’s going to need some serious legs to compete in midfield in the PL to get through 6 years

Not saying the PL in 6 years. Just mean in general a top player has it in their own hands to lower salary request to move to pretty much anywhere they want before they finish playing. Once they retire the ease of getting those kind of experiences will start to become a bit more limited

Reports that Man Utd are willing to offer €94M for Antony

Belotti on the verge of joining Roma on a free. They have fast become my team to look out for in Serie A. Could be in for a spectacular season

He’s been at the bottom on the cliff chatting to Harry Maguire
They’ve both fallen so quickly it’s scary

A player that absolutely peaked when he was 21, how he has fallen in such a relatively short space of time. A few other players want to be careful they don't fall under the same category as him in the near future, namely Rashford for instance,

I always wonder how players end up that badly off from where they were. How can you go from being one of the worlds top prospects (and probably players at the time) to one of the football's most unwanted.

By simply having the wrong attitude, it would seem.

There are very little similarities to MR. Alli's issues are mostly off-field, his attitude, and the company he keeps. He'll be bankrupt in a few years as well.

Rashford has a fantastic attitude and work ethic on and off the pitch. Just needs a decent manager to get the best out of him in a system that he's suited to.

Rash cord is so ManU through and through though, cut him and he’ll bleed red. He’s been there 17 years now.

Like Ady, he needs time away and a return in a few years time after having played for better clubs.
