Pepe the Horseman
Winston Biscuit Isco apparently on his way to Union Berlin. Bloke used to get hyped relentlessly by the media here always claiming someone was going to sign him when he was a regular sub at RM. He then went to Sevilla and has his contract terminated after 4 months he was so sh*t and is now reportedly off to Union Berlin (who are 2nd in the Bundesliga)

Not happening now as he wants too much money.

What does he want ?
£100 a week ?
(and yes, I meant one hundred)

Dunno m8. I believe DD has a friend that works in the Union Berlin press office, so he may be able to shed some light.

You know its false because he said "friend". We all know he has no friends.

Chelsea sent the wrong documents for Ziyech to PSG 3 times and now the deal is off, and he's stranded in their offices

Great work from West Brom to bring in Albrighton & Chalobah.

Darlow to Hull looks decent business too

Union Berlin owner says Isco's deal to them fell through as Jorge Mendes asked for a wage change at the very last minute when the player was already there on site to sign a contract.

'We had an agreement in place on everything and when it came down to the contracts Mendes then asked for things we will never do. Doing this goes against what Union Berlin stands for so we said no to the transfer. I feel terribly sorry for him as the player was here'

lol

Winston Biscuit Jorginho to Arsenal for £12M.

Seems an odd one to me. he only just turned 31, doesn't have any pace to lose, and has played in all but 2 of their games this season.

And with Kante out of contract end of the season too.

only 4 transfers from the top 35 most expensive were not to English clubs

Vitinha to Marseille €32M
Gerson to Flamengo €15M
Ndayishimiye to Nice €11.5M
Gorriaran to Pumas (Mexico) €12M

Couldn't the player say fcuk off Jorge, I'm here and lets just sign it as agreed before?

Mendes will likely have contract terms with the player that gives him final sign-off on any deal - otherwise a player could in essence sack him and his advice off at any point during negotiations.

yeah I am assuming whatever this last minute change request was included a nice extra benefit to Mendes, and if he didn't get it then he can say he refuses to complete the deal

Gorriaran is an utterly bonkers player
weird move for him though, but he is seriously good, seen a lot of his games

Chelsea has spent more in the last 8 months than Spurs have in the last 12 transfer windows combined, dating back to 2017.

WBA are probably right in the **** if they don’t go up.

Also, what are the ffp rules in the PL? Surely Chelsea must be pushing it now? Then there’s ManC, are they being investigated still? Is it actually possible for a club in the PL to fall foul of any ffp rules?

Chelsea are currently within the FFP limits because of the long contracts they are offering. I think UEFA said they may change the ruling soon to stop clubs doing that
