Sanguine genome Winston Biscuit Union Berlin owner says Isco's deal to them fell through as Jorge Mendes asked for a wage change at the very last minute when the player was already there on site to sign a contract.
'We had an agreement in place on everything and when it came down to the contracts Mendes then asked for things we will never do. Doing this goes against what Union Berlin stands for so we said no to the transfer. I feel terribly sorry for him as the player was here'
lol
Couldn't the player say fcuk off Jorge, I'm here and lets just sign it as agreed before?
Mendes will likely have contract terms with the player that gives him final sign-off on any deal - otherwise a player could in essence sack him and his advice off at any point during negotiations.
yeah I am assuming whatever this last minute change request was included a nice extra benefit to Mendes, and if he didn't get it then he can say he refuses to complete the deal
