France vs Mexico

by Ian Royal » 17 Jun 2010 19:40

And Roy Hodgson basing his punditry on France facing Algeria for some unknown reason

The BBC's other pundits sniggering behind their hands and not correcting him.

Ready for a good game (<optimistic smilie>)
I've got lots of tin and gonic... umm  I mean... too much gin and tonic
And I've managed to push back a work deadline until July (so only five things to do by the end of next week, then)
So I'm relaxed and ready to enjoy some footie!
Go team
(who are we supporting?)
1-1

Mexico of course. Basically anyone but the Italians are better than the French... and then it's too close to call.

Nice quiet vuvuzela night -- Uruguay obviously knocked the stuffing out of the annoying swarms

At least (most of) you people are separ7ed from the one set of principals for whom you profess such disdain

Imagine instead that they could wade across, and in a matter of minutes

Ian Royal This ref is awful.

First sensible post on GF by IR for a while.

This game's wide open. While the French have seen more of the ball, the Mexicans look more likely when they get forward.

^ That, and they really ought to quit lumping the ball forward from their own half when there are two blue shirts stood waiting to intercede

Or keep doing it all nite long, depending upon one's preference

It is - they're blatantly trying to block out those annoying horns, which is a good thing.
