Argentina v Mexico

Thoroughly looking forward to this. I've been pretty unimpressed with Mexico so far and would love Messi to tear them a new one.

Argies to win this by at least a couple.

I think the whole world has been looking forward to this one - a whole lot more than the way NW Europe has been fixated on this afternoon's game.

Don't agree with your well thought out points there Avon. I enjoy watching Messi, and I'm hoping he has a good game this evening.

is bautista any good?

I think argentina look light in the middle (mascherano against a load of nifty mexicans basically) but messi will guide them through in a 3-2 cracker of a match

argentina back 4 is very average but attacking four are best in the tournament, i hope di maria puts in a performance today, a lot of the bright young things of world football like krasic, navas, gourcuff and hamsik have been disappointing in this tournament but will this angel fly tonight?

Mexico will win this. No one is taking them seriously (including the Argentines).

Me-hi-co!

That #14, Hernandez is one heck of a player. Plays for Chivas Guadalajara, my fav Mexican club team. He has already looked dangerous today.

Just what I was going to post. This is lively and exciting. England should hang their heads in shame even more.

LOLinesmen!

I love how they can see on the screens that they're wrong. And still remain wrong. Blatter is probably right, linesmen are more than capable of making the correct decision...
