Spain / Portugal

by bobbybottler » 29 Jun 2010 19:27

Spain unchanged, and I hope that they click as they were threatening to do against the spunky Chileans. Portugal are fukcing dull, I strongly dislike their tendency to give it Ronaldo and let him get on with it.

So I'm thinking Spain win, perhaps 2-0

I think Spain will go through - I'm hoping it doesn't come to extra time and penalties, but if it does, I hope Ronaldo skies it and the Spanish goalkeeper gives a little wink to the camera.

Spain to sneak it 1-0 with a late Villa winner.

Supporting spain for this, never support a side with Ronaldo in it.

Ideal I found this match very dull and not very exciting. Referee was poor, the diving was poor, chances few and far between, and it was generally just poor.
Chile were better than both these teams.

Portugal were just trying to spoil the game and Spain were finding it difficult to break them down but they did it eventually.

Chile btw were a danger to the players of the other teams in the tournament with their tackling so I'm glad they're out.
