New 'Link' Striker

by SWLR » 23 Nov 2009 13:36

This may duplicate the threads below, but I heard BR on Radio Berks before the game on saturday saying he was looking for a 'link striker', and that he had missed out on two opportunities.
Any guesses on who? or who fits the 'link striker' mould and could be available on loan.
Or has he found it in the Sig

definitely covered in the other threads mate. One guess is gael kakuta from chelsea, who was chased by manchester utd before chelsea got him. I've seen him play for the ressies there and he's fantastic, way too good for the championship. No idea about the other player mentioned.
As for the sig, no way. I get a feeling that we will be seeing a 4-5-1 more often due to injuries. Having a link striker playing with rasiak or church will also mean karacan can come back into the team at the expense of either sig, matejovsky or howard.

yes definitely a link striker was quoted - but also was quoted "not any link striker...had to have right DNA ...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" ...so obviously mouth swabs are being taken by the clubs scouts to make sure...still confused about what the right DNA is...given its unique..

Obvious the DNA line worked wonders at interview...expect Egoman to be using it soon...when announcing who hes putting in charge of his Reading Central construction...

Heard that Tommy Smith passed his medical but failed the DNA test, due to lack of DNA testing equipment on the day!
