Smoking Kills Dancing Doe Wouldn't say Shorey was laughable, nor Hughes at £500k.

Some people have short memories, Hughes that season was like Kebe minus the good days or indeed even any good moments at all. He dragged our team down and was a serious concern as no-one ever though it possible he would move, even on a free. To get 500k for something you thought you couldn't give away was simply stunning.

Hughes kept that squad together near singlehandedly on the pitch. YEah he was no genius left winger, but he put in a decent shift there when we needed him and covered any holes we had through injury.

He was a quality box to box central midfielder. £500k was perhaps high, but not ludicrous by any stretch of the imagination.

Kitson's was clearly over-priced, but it was more about just the transfer being a totally bad fit for Stoker and him than anything else.

Sonko was a poor buy and for a defender way way over-priced. Yeah, he'd scored a couple of goals for us that seaosn, but his defending had been comedy since he came back from injury.

Halford is a good player but we totally mugged Sunderland under the circumstances. No doubt.

Shorey was a very fair price. As was Doyle. Hunt was a bit overpriced..

Fed would be the absolute killer though. A fair Championship keeper going to be second choice for one of the big 4 at £2m? utterly ludicrous.
