W&E Royal Where did you hear of this "rumour"?

A close friend of mine. I am not gonna make up some crap saying that my uncle or friend works at the Forest megastore or someshit. It is my close friend. Just a friend. Hope we can put this misunderstanding to rest TYVM.

I don't really think it's a misunderstanding, this is how think it went:

1) You made up a rumour.
2) I didn't believe it.
3) You try harder to make people believe.

That is all.

He could just be posting anything he hears to get his posts up.

Every one is entitled to their own opinion. It's OK.
But the 'You try harder to make people believe.' thing, now thats crap. I wasn't "trying" anything. I am defending myself from you calling me a liar. I am no liar!

Either: a) your mate has made it up. b) you have made it up. c) your mate is taking the piss out of you because you are thick and gullible. d) forest have made the offer and we're laughing at them. e) we're about to make one of the worst decisions of the last 10 years.

Personally I think a) through c) are most likely.

moronic argument
any rumour or gossip you have heardwith no foundation is fair game
made up or not.
this seems to at least fit into that area

I disagree - there are actually a few posters on here who post genuine rumours. This tosh is just a waste of time. Actually, I think primary school kids should be banned.

Wouldn't mind McGugan and while we are at it can we have McGoldrick.
In fact I wouldn't mind any of the players in Forest's first team squad because (apart from centre-back cover) I think they have the best squad in the division and Davies is still trying to bring in more.

But to have Sig sold..... Most youngsters(which i know of) the team sold has mostly gone on to achieve success. Eg. Cox,Tyson,Austin. I defo would't want that to happen. But to have McGugan in the team would be great.

Most of the youngsters who leave disappear into nowhere. Obviously Cox and Tyson have done OK although so far not really at a level above where the club has been. Henderson eventually has done well and Jamie Ashdown has made a career of being a bench warmer in the Prem. We got pretty reasonable money for all four, although none were on a par with what we get for Shaun Allaway ! (it was Shaun wasn;t it ? They are the exceptions though.

But keep on dreaming up these 'rumours'. People have done it for years and the rule regarding Shakespeare and Monkeys applies - one day someone will strike lucky and get one right ! Be comforted though that it's not new, it's not original and 99% of the time it's not worth the effort....

Well, at least I'm 1/3 right

http://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/footb ... reading_fc

"Hal Robson-Kanu is happy to bide his time for first-time football at Reading having turned down several loan moves to lower-league clubs."

Isn't Lincoln City a lower league club?

There are 47 other lower league clubs, so I don't rate your chances of having been right given your accuracy with everything else.

 Several lower league clubs. I estimate 5-6 clubs were chasing him? 5/47 chance that it may be Lincoln City. Who knows?
