Yep. I think the club recognise his talents and are looking to tie him down longer. One of my friends doesnt live too far from him and lets just say Mikkel has been upgrading his current possessions recently.
Wouldnt be suprised to see Hamer pushed out on loan again and Mikkel no.2 this season either.

I would not be surprised if Andersen became first choice during the coming season.

Credit to Mikkel to be fair, I saw him a couple of years ago and he was shocking. I suppose in hindsight he was a very young lad coming into a team with a bit of pressure and he hadn't had any sort of previous match expereince over here.

Obviously had an excellent season while out on loan and the club have seen something in him.

I doubt there is another club in the country (inc Premier League) with the amount of promising young keepers that Reading have.

Have 4 genuine front line keepers and they haven't cost a penny in transfer money.

Good on you for changing your mind on him as circumstances change. Not too many on here would seem capable of that.
