Both players have apparently passed their respected medicals. Williams was at the club again today but tonight is watching his former club play. I'd expect an announcement tomorrow.

Why? I would say we matched thier evaluation and are the highest placed league club interested. Southampton were also interested and wouldn't have scoffed at £50k.

For some reason the way various sources have drip fed us with information about these two potential transfers has somehow generated in me far more excitement over their arrival than I would have felt had we just signed them and announced it as normally happens with our signings. Let's hope they actually sign and soon realise their potential.

With most clubs medicals take a day or so. With RFC they can go on for several weeks judging by the length of time these transfers are taking.

Are we ever going to sign anyone.
