My guess with Charlie is that we probably have some kind of gentleman’s agreement he can go if an ambitious club come in for him and pay over a certain amount of, even if it isn’t explicit in a contract

Tbf to him (and his dad) they’ve stuck it out in some pretty tough times and have earned the attention he is getting

I’d love to keep him but certainly
Wouldn’t resent him moving on if that’s what he wants to do

I watched the Robbie savage interview on the TTE podcast and he was really complimentary about the club and the way they had looked after charlie. I guess he has some influence over Charlies decision and I felt it bodes quite well

Still very young and under contract for another 2 years and I think we gotta give Man U 50% cos they let us have him for free even tho he was still under contract.
We ain’t desperate for money now so if I was RC it would have to be a minimum of £5Mill before I even considered selling.
I would rather keep for 2 more years and let him walk for free unless it’s proper good money.

If, once we have built the squad back up and a decent offer is received that works for all parties - and is at a time where we have time to reinvest any funds (if and where needed) then fine but I would not, personally be humoring any offers for any contracted player until August at the earliest.
