Apparently Fryatt is looking a bit podgy with his lack of football for Leicester this season.Just imagine Tabb, Long, and Fryatt in the same team, would make Charvil Rangers look like fitness freaks.

A major concern about signing Fryatt is that I doubt he would be happy to sit on the bench as that is why he is unhappy at Leicester.

At the moment there is no way Long will be dropped and I think it would be harsh dropping Hunt after he has scored 3 from 3. Fryatt might be a good sub - but cannot see us starting him - so if he comes here he will be in the same position as he finds himself at Leicester.

Completely agree with this. I hope we get Fryatt or another striker but just at the moment Hunt is scoring and Long is playing well so unless we sign a real star, which isn't going to happen, any new striker will start on the bench which seemed inconceivable a month ago.

Having said that I think wherever Fryatt goes it will be with a view to a permanent move as soon as the window opens so I think he will make his choice of Club based on the longer term. Hull have a big advantage if Fryatt got on well with Nigel Pearson when he was Leicester.

Being a midlands lad neither us nor Hull would be ideal for him geographically for a permanent move and Derby who have been linked with him in the past would have the advantage there if they came in.
