Preston is not a midfielder he is an out and out winger.
I'm playing golf with his manager next Wednesday so hopefully will be able to add to this thread afterwards.

Only very vaguely. Wingers play wide and AMs play centrally.

Attacking Midfielders play higher than a typical winger, but just behind the forwards, and/or to the side.

No particular reason-both have a long way to go to make it at a level higher than Div 1 IMHO.

HRK has skill, a fecking brain, pace and isn't a hot head. He just lacks confidence! He was immense for Swindon on loan and if he keps improving he could be good replacemnt for McAnuff in the near future. Antonio is all pace, no brain. He' unpredictable but that's because the opposition, our team and himself don't know what he's going to do!My mate at Southampton seems to think the same too!

Er, you need to speak to a few Swindon fans about HRK. Having posted on their forum at the time he was on loan there, they did like him but they said exactly what we all say; that he has a few fancy moves up his sleeve but he can't cross for shit and he wastes possession far too often. They'd have taken him on if they could have but they found him a very frustrating player even at League 1 level.

Nothing's changed in his step up to Championship level.

Er... I have. I spoke to the marketing director there and the swindon staff throught exactly what I posted above. He just needs more confidence.

I told you it was true.

It was in the same Echo a couple of weeks ago.
See earlier posts-don't expect this to be another Charlie Austin.

Yep, confirmed by an insider at the club we put in a bid of £1000, but they wanted £5000 and our transfer budget won't stretch that far.

We had him on trail but did not think he could make the step up. Apparantely we said that he might make it at League 2 level. The following links seem to confirm this.
