Seem to recall Trevor Senior doing alright on his second spell. Must admit haven't checked the stats or anything & it was a few years back so my memory could be playing tricks

Exception to the rule I think. Little, Kitson and Shorey all had poor returns in recent years.

Little's 2nd spell for Reading was quite good I thought.

First spell: 102 goals in 164 games. Second: 51 in 137. Ok, he slowed down. But his second spell was still better than most of the strikers we've seen over recent years.

He second spell coincided with us being unspeakably shit. My memory tells me he was still top scorer in his second spell but scoring 15-20 goals a season compared to 25-30 a season in his first spell and he relied massively on decent service for his goals.

Ruling out ever going back is stupid. Just as going back to recapture old glories based on what a player did here before, rather than what they're currently doing is stupid.

Probably talking to the suits because we still owe him some wages or something...... seriously though, he did a lot of development work with the kids so might be one we have an eye on as a future youth coach at the club or maybe he's just being friendly with people he used to work with.
