Armadillo Roadkill If Hunt thinks he's got a role in his system, I'm very happy to accept his judgement.
The position he plays is more determined by the manager than the player himself. If he told to stay up high and wide that's what he'll do.
From my viewpoint, he has patches of ten to fifteen minutes of being brilliant, and whole periods of games where he doesn't draw my attention at all. I think that's just what it's like for a winger. If the ball is going down the other side he can't really abandon his position.
I accept he's not brilliant at tracking back and winning the ball back, but this can be worked upon. Kébé went from doing nothing to be being excellent at his defensive duties.
And Hunt obviously values him for what he brings as he played him consistently.
If he signs permanently I hope Hunt has a role for him that provides some more consistency and application next season - he clearly has ability and should be pushing to be stand out performer at this level.
