Forget rumour, here's a fact. There is no way ever in the world that Davide Santon will ever turn out for Reading.

That is all.

This is fact because? It's improbable, but not impossible. I would think it all depends on how much Mourinho and Brendan get on

I wouldn't mind betting that people knowing the links between Jose and Buck had just circulated this and the Readings fans spunked themselves, putting 2+2 together.

Either that or a bunch of regular posters have started a thread, and pooled their collective oxf*rd to start a fake rumour.

Jamie, dear boy, I've read AE up and down and can find nothing that would change my mind about this.

Although the prospect of signing two of the best players in Italy is mouth-watering, sadly I don't think it's all that likely for Reading. Or anybody else, frankly.

That said, bring on the Inter U20 loans!

YateleyRoyal I'd like to see Ballotelli or Santon myself....

Sadly, for everyone concerned, that's the only genuinely funny post on this thread

Isn't Mario Balotelli the great Italian hope? Also an important part of Inter's 1st team? 8 goals in 22 games would say so...

They are not gonna let him go out on loan to a Championship no matter how much Jose likes BR. Even West Ham would do well to get him, very well.

If we do get anyone from Inter, it will be someone no one has ever heard of. Worked well enough for Swansea...

agree with arch. the kid is highly rated and has played in the champions league. If he does go anywhere it wont be on loan and it would be for a hell of a lot money.

Mourinho dislikes Balotelli's attitude, but not enough to loan him to a foreign team who aren't even in their top flight.

Santon is even more far fetched, the bloke is suppose to be in Inter's first team in four different positions.
