You say you would, but its harder than you think. Giving away that kind of money can you really trust $100,000,000 with some people you dont even know to spend every last penny of it on what it was intended for? Or is it just me who's kinda wary about how much charity money actually ends up being used to its best ability or even being used at all...

Agree. I wouldn't trust a charity. You never quite know who gets that money, and gets bits of it they shouldn't. If I was that wealthy, I'd set my own charity up and ensure every penny went where I wanted it to go.

Frankly, they're welcome to spend it how they see fit. And I said £s not $s.

It would be spread out.

This in the mirror today.

Birmingham co-owner David Sullivan has told West Ham he will only buy the club if the price is reduced because of the debt he would be taking on - and could invest in Norwich, Ipswich, Cardiff, Leicester or Charlton if he cannot strike a deal

He just said he will look at what is available - if he finds an emotional attachment and he thinks it is good business he will do it... - plenty of candidates but you would have to assume RFC would be on the list of potential clubs...

Why?

Why would someone want to buy Reading FC?

Check the facts and feel the cut of the cloth.

Players are shit, manager hasn't a clue and has recently joined, club languishing at the wrong end of the CCC, fans getting restless, numbers dwindling. Hardly an attractive proposition is it? If you had in the region of £250 million to invest, would you choose Reading FC?

I'd guess you'd base your decison on a bit of proper research and some hard facts.

As opposed to some of the tosh posted on certain forums....

I repeat.. 'on the list of potential clubs'... did I say anything about Sullivan selecting it?

Id imagine someone with a bit of ambition could easily turn this club round and If the hotel is thrown in as well it could be right up someone like Sullivans street + the fact that the maggot looks like buying West Ham its possible he could turn to us,we are not that far from London
