Ian Royal I rather think it was where you argued with my statement that Kitson is far superior to Rasiak by bringing out last season's goal tallies.

I do not agree that Kitson is FAR superior to Rasiak, TBH apart from a decent 12 game run of form, Kitson has been overwhelmingly average in the last 4 years.

If we were to bring Kits back, which one would we get? Would it be the sulking moody git or the one with everything to prove? Even with one knee flopping in the wind, he is more mobile and threatening than Rasiak.

Would be an improvement on Lard-arse Long though.

Given he spent more than a season's worth of games on the treatment table, and has spent another season's worth in a team that couldn't create a chance if they were playing an HNA? eleven, that's rubbish. Dave Kitson's career has been blighted by injuries and a poor move in the last year or so. He is three times the player Rasiak is.

Like I said, a Kitson of 5 years ago would walk into any championship side ATM, but he isn't the player he was, he's lost a yard of pace, and seems to have personal problems affecting him. I'd say Kitson only just edges it now, but Raz is the target man we need ATM.

I genuinely think he would bring quality to the side. We are making chances at the minute and he would put them away. Also his link up play has always been great.

For me, if we can share the cost of wages with Stoke, it's a no brainer.

Still better than what we've got, and perhaps under a different manager and with very few of his old team mates left it could work.

I'd be very surprised though.

No chance, we proved it was time to move on last season.

No chance in these cost cutting times.

More likely a PL youngster me thinks.

Kitson = £3million - Rasiak = £300K so market forces say Kitson is the better player.

I think he has got something to prove now. He can't get in the Stoke side and if rumours are true, he never will again. Here, he would start every week and that means a hell of a lot to footballers.

I would definately sign him - we won't get anyone better for the money we pay!

But it wont happen because the whole raison D'etre of the Rogers reveloution means that no one from the 106 team is allowed (Ingi will not be offered a new contract and Long was a bit part player).

The current cost cutting excercise would prevent this - they had a surveyer in last year to see how much they'd have to extend the dressing rooms to accomodate Kitson's ego, and they decided the cost of sghoting up the slope by Cost-Co made this prohibitive.

Seriously, though, BR is most definitely NOT a Kitson fan!

Boom boom.

It's been a slow day.

Spurs are gonna sign Kits anyway...

Sidibe is injured after Pulis put him back in the side too quick so he didn't have to play Kits. Kitson since blamed for the defeat at Hull after putting on a pretty disgraceful performance.

It was way past ever going back last season, TP pressured from above to play him so he could be sold but no one came in for him.

You get what you deserve out of football. Treat a club like shit and you get the same in return...

Re - Pressure from above - simply not true at all. Not how Peter Coates works. Kitson had a great pre-season, bonded with the team during pre-season tour of Austria and started the season up front due to Beattie injury. As soon as Beattie was half fit, he was dropped, despite being their best player and top scorer. This no doubt knocked the big man's confidence. Then when Mama came back whilst hardly being able to walk, he was dropped from the bench. Rumour was training ground bust up with Peter Reid, which is easily done. He did however come on against Hull at the weekend, so any rumour of not playing for the club again seems a little premature.

I see Kitson's off to Middlesborough.

We could actually do with him here.

WTF!!!!

It was the animosity/hatred between Lita & Kitson that screwed up our dressing room!

As if the cloth cutting would allow Kitson to return FFS

We are bottom third CCC at best. Get used to it as this is as good as it gets now!
