You'd have thought the plight of Watford might open some people's eyes to the tremendous job SJM has done for us.

Clearly not.....

The problem is that while other clubs overspend and then use administration as a get out of jail free card, any club that does try to live within its means will be at a disadvantage.

They seem to be in an OK position now, though.....

1871 Royal Not being in administration > being in administration

Top half > bottom 5

Although assuming we can stay up our short - medium term prospects are probably better.

brendywendy if newcastle are worth 100 million
then we are worth 50
at the very most
and at that price that would see JM recoup the money hes owed, and a small profit

80 M is mental- based on where we are, just mental
even last year it was pushing it-hence the fact no one bought us

Ah, yes. But if he puts the club on the market for £50m, people will only offer £40m for it. If he slaps an £80m price tag on the club, knowing full well that he is happy to accept £50m, he is more likely to get the sum that he desires. (He may even be able to squeeze out more from prospective buyers)

A high starting price puts you in a stronger position to negotiate, especially if they have shown interest knowing the club is on the market at £80m.

Have you never bartered with a market stall owner?

clearly the 80 million price tag is too prohibitive currently
if he is that desperate to sell he'll have to drop it
