Wycombe Royal Beaten on one point, so you shift your argument.

We may not have to pay all of a loan players wages, and neither do we know what wage budget is available to McD. But ZK is probably on a decent wage and he has joined us.

Not sure where the argument moved, TBs only question was who would want to move to us, not giving the reasons why they wouldn't!

To be honest I think he has a very decent point, but as you say, with a loan move we might not have to pick up the whole tab on the players wages. That does mean that you have to find a club willing to let their player go out on loan and still contribute to their wages.

That must limit the options quite a bit, especially when it comes to forwards who are usually more in demand and the ones that carry the higher wages.

I think there will be options out there, but it won't be easy to find a player with the right qualities who is going to be available and want to come here. It really is something we need to do everything we can to sort out though.

Fair enough, I'm just in one of my argumentative moods even if it means "manufacturing" one.......

why would beckford come here when, even if he stays at leeds, could be in a league above us next year

Just to throw some names out there.

I'd scrub Healy off that list as well as Weber. Although Danny Webber is a good shout. Healy has a fantastic record at international level but If you look at his club form it's woeful. Eddie Johnson is a bit questionable as I've heard he has attitude problems and has failed to live up to his early hype.

its worth looking at Healy's club record and looking at the amount of sub appearances he's made in his career, from memeory i thinks its quite a lot

Chris Iwelumo is a great shout.

Been offered on loan to all Champ clubs.

Sure he'd want a bit for his wages. But as we've all learnt relagation costs a lot more.
