Mr Angry I hope that we go for Speroni in the Summer; excellent keeper.

Royal_Delight Fella hasn't established himself as a top keeper and he already wants to play in Italy.... Not saying he is not a good keeper but wasn't he really really poor in the first half of the season? Can't fault him for his aspirations though.

The guy is playing his first full season with us as no.1 and he has never played at this level before joining us. considering his career to date has been training for temp contracts, then signing for us and being loaned out to lower leagues, I think he's done bloody well. He's got better as the season has gone on and you can see he's been working on saving shots to his right side. Next season he will need to show his second half of the season form on a regular basis to make himself the best keeper outside the prem IMO.
Someone on here mentioned speroni....every game i've seen him play he's looked god awful. Didn't Palace fans used to call him Spilloni???

I know I know. But for him to play in one of the most prestigious leagues out there (Italy) is still a long shot for him IMO.
Actually, Neil Warnock called Speroni the 'best keeper' in the division by a mile. Would agree with him on that. Had rave reviews at Palace and Dundee.
A video on him, quite brilliantly actually : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndJFFiWCuqc
