Worst is debatable Dirk. He gets plenty of bites...

I for one rate his wind ups, and thought he did a great job prediciting the new team strip.

A total guess on my part here, but following the behind closed doors friendly yesterday, it wouldn't surprise me if we took someone on loan from QPR.

Leon Clarke might be available. Hasn't fulfilled his potential from when he first emerged at Wolves. On his day at Sheff Weds (admittedly about half a dozen games) he looked impressive. Big, strong with a good turn of pace.

Anyway, with this season's black hol plugged by the Mills transfer, the Long money will finance a move for a striker who yesterday declared that he did not expect to be at Spurs come 1st September and who wouldn't rule out a move to the Championship.

The fat Kevin Doyle himself: Robbie Keane.

Fine. That's £4m of the touted £7m.

What are you going to spend the rest on?

Someone suggester Benik Afobe in another thread. That would be amazing if we could get him on loan and convince him he wont be able to get into Arsenal's team.

Only about 18 but looked absolutely class at Hudd last season. Maybe even just get him on loan and continue to develop Manset and whoever else.

On loan would be our only chance

matt derbyshire signs for forest. cracking bit of business for forest, and just the sort of signing we should have been looking at as a replacement for shane long.

Not really sure why they took him to be honest, never struck me as fitting into their style as he's a poacher and not a lot else. He didn't really play much from what I remember and if the idea was that he'd replace Phillips' goals off the bench o think the logic was a bit flawed.

At this level though, and playing in a side that creates chances and isn't so defensive I think he could do very well.

it does look though that the Wally with the Brolleys need is much greater based on the first few games Forest have played ....

Darbyshire would have been just the signing that I would have loved us to pull off. Alas, wages were probably a deciding factor.

Still, Danny Webber is available.

So how many Forest fans are going to get "Derbyshire" on the back of their shirts? Do they sell *'s to go on shirts?
