Old Man Andrews Yeah would rather we loan out Holmes to a decent League 1 side, be a guaranteed starter.

I am not going to rule out Liam Moore leaving either, he has made a decent start to the season and is affordable.

You gave us all your personal guarantee Moore and Swift wouldn't be here for the start of the season, interesting climb down.

Zip I can see an argument for Holmes being loaned out but not one for McIntyre.

Same.

And agree Gibson should be here as LB cover predominately.

The clubs situation changed after that prediction. Bowen wanted them both sold to raise funds and was blocked by the owners, that is why he went. My prediction was correct at the time of making it, nobody saw the change in manager coming.

“My prediction was correct at the time of making it” might just be the wettest thing I’ve ever heard. I’m worried even you believe your own crap.

It's classic.

You missed the bit about it being based on the inside knowledge he made up having

But we should all just accept OMA knows more than any of us because he's played some Sunday League.

It is a fact that they would have been sold under Bowen. Ian I wouldn't bring up getting things wrong. Tennai Watson ring any bells?

I have worked and played in football at a level you can only imagine, you are the typical armchair supporter except your armchair is probably second hand and bearly fits inside your bedsit.

Say what you like about OMA, but there's no doubt that he's an Olympic-level mental gymnast.

Someone is also tracking a private plan flying in from Porto, so it's bound to not happen.

Assuming he'll have to quarantine, so if so, how will a medical actually take place?

Pending league approval.

From what I've read, no doubts over his ability and potential. However, 18 in a new country will be a challenge. Hopefully our Portuguese speakers can help him settle in and Pauno get the best out of him.

One other thought on this signing if/when its confirmed.

Yiadom started out as a winger. Could we see him being utilised further upfield?

Well I presume he must be rated to become one hell of a player as Porto put a 40m Euro release clause into his contract when he signed it earlier this year. There was some talk of him going to Wolves as Doherty’s replacement over the summer as well.

EP says he can also play further forward and even in centre midfield so gives extra option in those areas. Represented the Portuguese u21s at the age of 17 and has 3 appearances for Porto’s first XI.

He'll probs change his mind when he sees all the gimps camped out in the bushes at the Mad Stad. JSK would be spinning in his grave if he was alive to see this today.

I think he grew up and realised what he was doing was pathetic.

Cue the meltdown when it touches down at Bournemouth Airport.
