juanpablo Some players said Eileen helped them and I couldnt give a oxf*rd about his stance on the disabled

Reading turning down an ex England manager? behave, we would be lucky to have him at this shambles

Lol - McClaren?

Certainly McLaren.

I seriously doubt whether Coppell would have been any less out of his depth as England manager than McLaren, who has proved himself to be a pretty decent top flight club manager.

I've always said I had a sneaky idea he'd be lurking around for the job at some point. Admittedly I thought he'd be taking over Premiership side after Coppell left at the end of the 07/08 but I still think he'd be well suited to the job.

I think he'd get on quite well with Sir John as they're both a bit quirky and they're local to each other too.

Tactically I think he'd be an excellent fit, and quite a good follow on from Rodgers attempts to get us playing decent football with technical players.

Not sure he would be the ideal man for the long term rebuilding (which Rodgers possibly was more suited to) but he'd be excellent at sorting out this bunch and relaying the foundations ripped up over the past 2 years.

During his managerial career Hoddle's teams have lost 167 games out of 530 - a loss %age of 31.5%.

Coppell's teams have lost 330 of 986 - representing 33.5%. (31.3% during his spell at Reading.)

Megson = 37.8% from 590 games.

Mark Hughes 32.1%.

Alan Irvine 36.0%.

Doesn't mean a lot / anything but I was browsing around and thought I'd share it....

(PS The picture of Hoddle on his Wiki page is in front of the Kyocera stand - prophetic?)

No chance I'm sure but still, I can dream.
