Streets
SCIAG We are likely to lose at least one striker this summer, and that could well be Doyle as he carried the heavier price tag.

Or it could be Lita as his deal is up next summer.

Could well be, but less likely I feel. Doyle and Kitson carry a larger transfer evaluation and are both sort after players by Premier League clubs, Leroy is also but less so.
Leroy will be very important for us this season.

I never said that

Lita's inconsistancy is his problem for me. Long can score- 4 in the Premier League last season wasn't it? From how many minutes? Compared to Lita's 1 in more minutes than Long's minutes/4 (I'd be prepared to wager). Plus, Long offers something when he's not scoring- Lita does not. Lita goes on runs of scoring every match, then plays dreadfully for 5 games or so until he's dropped. Long comes off the bench, harassess the opposition, and sets up or scores a goal pretty reguarly. Starting matches he's less consistant...

Bristol City have upped their offer to £1.75m and it appears that Ipswich may have pulled out of the race.

Smart money would be Bristol City now they have called off bids for 2 other strikers.

99% certain to be Bristol City - they are getting desperate to sign a striker.

I think we're the 100-1 shot.

He'd be class, but it wont be us.

if we were to get players like maynard and watson in, i would be very positive about our chances this season-in many ways they fit the reading policy young and hungry, but i just cant see it happening, especially the price they are at.

No mention of us anywhere, so it will be us.

Friday it will be announced to the World, along with two departures. Just Shorey to replace then.

Coppell's Right Footed 11
Royalee Ipswich are already in for him.

They are already in for Kevin Lisbie and Angelos Charisteas, we would beat Ipswich to his signature surely?

If we'd bother putting a bid in..

Once Kitson left Coppell said that he was happy to go with 3 strikers then as he put it the opportunity arose for us to get Noel Hunt.
There really is no point anybody posting speculation about forwards.
