Baseless speculation: No-one

by Royalwaster » 19 Aug 2009 16:36

I have it on good, no excellent, authority that we are going to sign no-one because our squad is already so good - we did after all keep a clean sheet yesterday, we did really well against Newcastle despite losing 3:0 (but it was as BR insists a great experience for all our players) and all we need to do now is improve in the final third. And if we've still got problems in that department we're bringing in a Chelsea academy lad who is currently injured and may not be fit till January. No problem.

Have to say I was a bit horrified when BR said that we had plenty of cover at CB as we can call on Cisse and Gunnarson.

We just have two fit CB's at present - who knows how long before Ivar is fit. Surely we should have more specialist cover in what is always regarded as the most important specialist roles in the game.

BR, isn't that an acronym for British Rail - and look what happened to them
