Dirk Gently The remarkable thing is that it didn't happen a year ago, to be honest.

The number of players wanted for good money by Prem teams shows just how badly we did to get relegated and that without those two glaring holes in the team we should probably have been fine.

What still irks me is that we all knew where those holes were before that last season in Prem had even kicked off. Yet we still did naff all about it.

Ian Royal Well had Fae not been a shit problem player, that was one of them plugged. The other would have been filled by Oster and Little, had they been fit. Not great and we needed to do more, but not as clear cut and ignored as many will have you believe.

Agree to a point with Fae. He was a complete and utter cock-up - made worse when we were supposed to have been following him for so long. I still think he *could* have offered something, but it was never the right fit.
I'm less inclined to agree on the second point though - few expected Little to have a another season given his age and injury record. Oster was only ever an understudy and could never be expected to deliver what was required, so this was an area that was screaming to be addressed.

Royal With Cheese Seriously folks,
Does anyone blame any of the current squad wanting to play in the top flight rather than spending 2/3 years minimum on a rebuilding mission at the Mad Stad?
I guess we just have to accept that our chance came and went last season and we have to start from the bottom again. Let's hope BR is up to the task.

First one addressed badly.
second one not addressed based on hope.
