I don't think Shorey to Villa was that laughable, was an England International and is a very good left back but as Sidders is finding out, it is tough at the top.

6 months prior to Kitsons move he was on the verge on an England call up as he was the Premier Leagues highest English scorer, I think £5.5 million was a good price. I can't think why you would put both these in the same context as Hughes and Halford.

Kits tops it though, there is no way in a million years he was ever going to fit into Stoke's system. Pulis made the mistake of looking at how tall his and thinking he's a target man, which we all know he aint....

Fed's a very good keeper, and young too. So £2million might well be a bargain in the long run.

I voted on the Halford deal. However I missed out the Kitson one, and would probably say that one in hindsight.

Hughes has plugged away and done a decent job for Norwich and Leeds. Surely worth 500k over the years. Even Halford had some impact at Sheff U (but still a massive LOL @ Sunderland and Roy Keane). Sonko has been an utter bust.

If Fed were to go to Liverpool, there's a serious chance he'd never play another significant football match in his life.
