If true then I can only assume it is a central defender as I doubt we would pay for extra cover at full back as we have Tabb and Gunnarsson who can do a job there

- in which case it can only mean that either Mills or Pearce are on their way. If one has to go I would prefer we kept Mills from what I have seen the last few games. Perhaps the Pearce to Sheff Unt rumours have some truth in them.

Seeing as Mills has been playing and well I suspect it would be Pearce or Ingi. I say Ingi because he hasn't agreed a deal yet and he is frustrated with the lack of progress.

Surely it would just mean we were back up to 4 central defenders, which is really the minimum we should have ?

But he's been with Newcastle from September to December so not much chance to get into the Blackburn squad - especially with them having Nelsen & Samba
