I'll be angry if this happens.

Looked every inch a £2 million CB in the last few games.

What a great way to unsettle an opposition player ahead of your game with them..

The one centreback possibility we cannot afford to let go without making another signing is Mills. We simply cannot go with three slow centrebacks and Cisse. Because Cisse sure as hell doesn't look like he's going to be first choice at the back (for a fairly good reason).

I am worried

I don't think he is going unless we get relegated.

do you seriously believe that he would've been allowed to play today, if he had a buyer that was prepared to pay anything like what we paid?

I don't really see MaccyD as an outright liar, and he said he'd had no contact. Now maybe that's manipulation and Hammond has... But we'd be mad to get rid of Mills, he's the only centre back we've got we know is actually any good.

More likely it will be Pearce - he wasn't even on the bench today.

Pearce & Mills are the future for this club, they better not sell either...

Pearce is only the future of this club at the lower end of this division or lower. But he is a good option for that much.

If Rodgers had stayed Mills would be on his way they did not get on.

That said, Mills is staying at the club as he is buying a property in Reading.

Pearce the future of this club? That's funny!

Who's to say that the scout was making a report on Mills which will be considered in the event that we get relegated?
