Probably all made up but rumours are...

Shane Long

To Newcastle or Birmingham

Gylfi Sigurdsson

To Newcastle or Fulham

Jimmy Kebe

To Newcastle or Manchester City

Plus also the earlier rumours of Feds off to Spurs or Liverpool

I'd bite someone's hands off if it's a decent fee for either of them. Whilst both are good players they aren't 'next level players' IMO

TBH, I could see Fulham coming in with a bid for Sigurdsson. He would make a very good Danny Murphy replacement.

You'd be fine to let Sig and Kebe go? I think they're key to next season's push.

Amazing isn't it, 6 months ago we'd all have gladly driven Kebe anywhwere just so long as long as he wasn't at the club next season....

I'm still not 100% convinced, he's been good in 1/5 of his total time here after all. Here and now he's one of the first names on the team sheet but I've got the nagging voice in the back of my head that says he might well go off the boil again.

If somebody came in with 3-4 Million for the bloke I'd be quite tempted to take it.

tbf he has played two great half seasons for us
and 4 million would represent a big profit for us.
but i think hes worth more, and id be gutted if he went.
but then ive always loved the kebster even when he was rubbish

LOng and Fed are both replaceable, but as we have seen in the past that is easier to say than do.

A proven Championship striker? WOuld actually rather we kept Long than take a risk on a lower level player. You also have to remember how important having a big, strong and quick striker is to our system is.

Hammer/McCarthy are risks at this level, but as long as we leave some budget to bring a keeper in if things go wrong, no reason why we couldn't start the season with one of those two (you assume Hammer) and see how they do. It will become very obvious if they are not up to it.

Exactly, not discounting the loan market too which after all got us Hahnemann in the first place.

Always plenty of GKs avaliable on loan.

Sheff Utd had about 10 this season...
