Seamus Coleman

If we can't get Griffin in on a permanent deal, I would love to try and get this kid in on a season long loan. He's currently at Blackpool but hopefully we'd have a chance.

My brother's an Everton fan and really rates Coleman highly.

Saw him play once when Everton were on Sky one Sunday. He looked a good talent, pacy, decent pass on him, good positional sense. But it was only one game.

I've always thought of him as Shay to be honest.

That ends that then...unless he comes on loan for a bit.

If he is any good he should find it easy next season to get in Everton's first team ahead of Hibbett and Neville.

Unless he's given a chance at Everton next season, I can see a season long loan back at Blackers.

Really? I thought he made a few mistakes personally, remember him charging down the right, the crowd expecting a good final ball and he sliced it out for a rosenior style goal kick.

There was another occasion towards end of second half where he went to knock it round their left back but just fell over....but players don't play with 100% accuracy in EVERYTHING that they do. In the first half he attacked particularly well, I remember one mazy run on the right hand side where he was turning their defenders for fun...his positioning play was good too, how often did you hear Whittingham's name mentioned in commentary?
