SCIAG Wouldn't get in the side, got two players booked on Sat, Sunderland need him (), and Fedders wouldn't be happy.
WUM attempt?

Terminal Boardom Credit crunch? Unless there is a clause in his contract would Blunderland really expect £5m for a fringe player? I think that there is scope for negotiation. Swapsies with shunt?

Id rather have Bothroyd! Didn't give Ingi or Doobs anything on Boxing day & was a great link between the midfield and the pace of Chopra up front

He gave Duberry an elbow in the first half and a provokation in the second half...

Because he wouldn't give us anything different to what we already have.
We need a new striker, but it should be a target man who can also hold the ball up and defender at set pieces - a poor mans Drogba if you want an example.

Or Dave Kitson would be another good example.

OK so he gave Doobs an elbow(part & parcel of being a centre half). I do think that Bothroyd was the best player on the pitch Boxing day though and would suit our team.
