"Coleman insists he has no intention of letting the 23-year-old leave, but does accept that a 'massive bid' could take the matter out of his hands."

So we're out then.

No were not. We've got the 6.5 million from the sale of Doyle.

Why would we want to pay a massive amount for a player who is worth a couple of million at most?

IMAMATEOFJOVSKY Sounds like its Reading!

13.40 Coventry boss Chris Coleman has admitted the club have turned down a 'pathetic' bid for Danny Fox.
You've got to say we are consistent if nothing else  The scrooge's of the championship :D

You've got to say that you have absolutely no idea that this is a Reading bid .
you are right I have no idea its us, just as you have no idea of a sense of humour. Why do people on here take things so seriously when people are having a laugh

Don't forget that we also have the proceeds from Simon Cox's move to the Baggies to add to swell the coffers in addition to all the season ticket money and shirt sales.

I agree with a lot of what you say on here, but to suggest that Fox isn't worth that is a very self-confident and in my opinion incorrect statement. I don't know how much yousaw of coventy last season but in the 6 or 7 live games I saw I would assess him to be a potential Prem player, worth £2.5m plus. You may know better though...!?

Maybe I'm underrating him. But for that much money he would have to be perfect, and if he is worth that much we probably don't stand much chance of getting him because a prem cloub would be after him.

This is funny. What you are saying is that for the kind of money being suggested - say £2m, being the perfect, where does that stand when considering the purchases of Fae and Halford?
