Strong rumours that it is Coventry. And it isn't as if we need a right winger at the moment.......

City accepted an offer from the Blades at the end of last season and MM agreed personal terms. However Sheff United were relying on the proceeds from the sale of Kyle Naughton to Everton. That sale got delayed and eventually cancelled when Spurs came in for Naughton and the delay pissed off City who pulled the plug. However now that the sale of Naughton to Spurs has gone through I understand that the Blades are keen to revive the deal. Having announced once that MM was on the way to Sheff Utd and then having to retract City are not going to get their fingers burnt twice hence the "un named" bidder" approach.

? We have one. HRK, Kebe and SHunt all play best on the left.

You are right. Gary Johnston has just confirmed on Talk Sport that MM is on his way to Coventry for medical etc.

Robson-Kanu has played on the right all pre-season (ahead of Henry in the pecking order it seems as well). And Kebe can certainly play there even if he is best on the left.

He's a left winger. Lacking enough pace to be a winger in Rodgers' system, and would upset the squad harmony. Basically, we'd be replacing Stephen Hunt with a slow, lazy SHunt. Hmm.
