Dave Kitson sell on fee

by Mid Sussex Royal » 29 Aug 2010 20:55

Something in EP about him going to QPR and we could get sell on fee.

Surely they would not bid more than we sold him to Stoke for?

Isn't that when you get a sell on fee - it's not common for a re-sale fee if the player is sold on for less.

If it is a 20% of any future transfer then whether he was sold for less or more than they paid is an irrelevance. Don't you play Football Manager?

We wouldn't have a sell on clause would we, given that the pots paid us 5.5million in the first place?

Well the E-Po seem certain we have a sell-on fee and it would make good sense to have insisted on one when we sold him. I would hope we did the same with Doyle.

Stoke didn't pay anything like that figure up front. The fee had loads of conditions based on appearances (not many), goals (barely any) and other bits. Therefore I would expect it to be a given that there was also a sell on clause.
