hes not our main threat though. he brings the other threats into the game, enabling them to score goals

murof

Also, Robson-Kanu should only be used as a sub, again not good enough to start in this league.

And finally Jason Roberts needs to play for the team and not for himself, when he's playing with either Noel Hunt or LeFondre they can make a big impact, but I don't think he gives it his all unless there is glory in it for himself

nonsense

nonsense

I think you missed a few bits of nonsense.

Gorkss not good enough for this level, back up at the very best

I would slot Pearce or Marriappa in next to Morrison, and potentially sign a experienced centre back in Jan(if we have the money)

Mr.T10 I agree with Gorkss got to go... Utter useless. Pearce was always the stand out CB and I was surprised when he was dropped... due to contracts?
murof Shorey is doing OK

Just ok? He has been one of our best players and was arguably the best player on the pitch against Everton. He hardly puts a foot wrong and to be fair he has done well against fast wingers.

Am I right in saying that Gorkss has started every single competitive game Reading have played since he signed?

There can't be too many Reading players who have achieved that sort of record.

I do think it's time for him to come out of the team, especially as both Mariappa and Pearce have shown reasonable promise so far and thus could hardly be considered an inferior replacement.

I think a new CB in\january is an absolute must. As bad as Gorkss has been, Pearce and Mariappa have hardly been great in the games they've been involved in.

Pearce was pretty good. Mariappa mediocre.

TheSiege Look at:- The Squad - A review in depth. Gorkks is not considered a Prem player.

Don't look at that, it's tripe.

Also regarding Shorey, just saw a cracking stat.

Nicky Shorey has created as many goalscoring chances as Chelsea's Juan Mata this season (28).

Just ok.

I don't like knocking players and Gorkss was a superb Championship signing for us and we should always hold him in high regard for his achievements here but I have to say he has looked out of place this season.

I just don't understand the Pearce situation. He really should be playing IMO - although his exclusion has undoubtedly been the reason for Morrison’s rise in stature so ironically it might be beneficial in the end.

im happy with either RB, like he said - much of a muchness

defo would like pearce or marriappa in for gorkss, and defo would like to see nhunt start away from home rather than alf

id also like to see mcleary in on the right instead of mcanuff. happy with either mcanuff or HRK on the left

Who you want to play is irrelevant and pointless. Brian picks the team and your opinion has zero bearing on that. :P

but brian doesnt set the budget, which is why your points are pointless in discussions about how awful brian is

unless you want AZ out instead? in which case, i also disagree with you
due to the fact he has more money than our previous owner, and unti, someone even richer comes in, i reckon getting rid now would be counter productive

Lacoste

He doesn't actually have more personal wealth than Madejski but the people investing with him have.
