The only thing I have confidence with Pog is his interest to collect a big fat paycheck. I get the feeling he believes playing at this level is beneath him and his competitive fire has flickered out, so far it appears to me he just doesn't care at this point.

to be fair to the guy he's had two five minute sub appearances and a game at Peterborough where nobody came out of it well

... and why is that?! Because he isn't interested in scoring goals. If he had notched double figures and gave the efforts that a lone striker should I'd back him up but he's lazy, never looks like he gives a shit, hence not starting games.

And yes there would be clubs that'd take him, clubs that don't know how crap he really is.

Well by the sounds of it the reason is because Nigel wasn't sure whether he was going on staying. Hopefully he'll start giving a shit between now and January and if he does he's going to come good. #BelieveInPog.

Had no problem with his application in matches last year. Obviously there are question marks over his quality but his finishing isn't as bad as some make out. The one gripe I have now, and will always have, is when players who quite clearly don't want to play for you are still on the books. He fits this bracket so we should probably cut our losses and get him out ASAP.
