At least you see pics of Mendes and Harriot in training/around the club. Quinn just seems to have disappeared.Royality creeps In wrote:In room 101 with Mendes and Harriot
So Elphick may as well go back to Villa then as even if he gets back from injury it's going to take more than 3 games to get full match fitness back.muirinho wrote:Not much cheer on the injury front.
First of all - John Swift has said he's had to learn a new way of running to protect his hamstrings. No wonder he's looking a bit sluggish since he came back, that's going to take a while to adapt to.
Secondly - Blackett is 50/50, and Clement says nobody else will be back in this weekend.
Longer term - Harriott and Mendes probably won't be back this season, with Mendes regarded as slightly more likely
He might need to think about retirement. What happened to him anywaySnowflake Royal wrote:Let's be realistic. If Harriott can't get back to playing within 18 months, he's just done full stop. For us and this level at least.
I think a lot of us felt Fosu was moved on far too quickly.blueroyals wrote:Imagine swapping Fosu for Harriot
Badly torn/pulled hamstring in the abandoned Fulham game. Was nearing fitness before xmas but either broke down again or just pushed himself too much at the wrong time and suffered a relapse.double d wrote:He might need to think about retirement. Don't think he's finished just yet, As I understand it he has recovered from the actual injury but is obviously taking returning to playing as slowly and carefully as possible which is a "luxury" he and the club can now afford this close to the end of the season.
His future will depend on how he is able to step up in pre-season.
Can we cease with this myth that we released Fosu. He was offered a new contract last May and chose not to sign it.Zip wrote:I think a lot of us felt Fosu was moved on far too quickly.blueroyals wrote:Imagine swapping Fosu for Harriot
Once people have got it into their heads that something is the club's fault, seems like nothing will shift it.From Despair To Where? wrote:Can we cease with this myth that Fosu was discarded or moved on.
