Omar Richards picked up a calf injury late last week, don’t know how long he’ll be out but don’t think it’ll be too long

Add Berg’s ankle injury to the list. Not too serious but another option out of the way for a game or two

Chris Martin ill and therefore missed the Leeds game, presumably will be back for Wolves

McShane, Kermorgant and Richards still a little way away from playing.

Harriott and Mendes getting minutes for the U23s. Wonder if either will manage to be match fit enough to at least offer a playing option for the first team from the bench.

Really hoping Elphick might be able to be considered for the games over Easter.

This season has been a truly miserable one for everyone concerned and this appalling catalogue of injuries that has run continually since the opening day of the season, with no let up, has only served to accentuate the issues.

Does anybody know anything more about the progress of Elphick? We could really do with some help from him for these last few games. I can't help feeling, if he hadn't been injured, he may have contributed enough to the team to help Stam over the line. Also, latest updates on anybody else?

This season has to be up there with the worst for injuries, We started the season with an injury crisis and it has never properly gone away.

First of all - John Swift has said he's had to learn a new way of running to protect his hamstrings. No wonder he's looking a bit sluggish since he came back, that's going to take a while to adapt to.

Secondly - Blackett is 50/50, and Clement says nobody else will be back in this weekend.

Longer term - Harriott and Mendes probably won't be back this season, with Mendes regarded as slightly more likely

So Elphick may as well go back to Villa then as even if he gets back from injury it's going to take more than 3 games to get full match fitness back.

McShane's season is likely over as well for the same reasons

The sooner the close season arrives and someone can sort out the training and fitness regimes so they don't lead to many of the persistent injuries the club have had this season the better

Just interested to know how Obita is getting on, is he on course to return for pre season training. Wonder if he'll still be the same player.

So Elphick being out for six weeks might as well be six months because he won’t be playing again until August. The January loan signings were a waste of time.
Bacuna has gotten away lightly with his stupidity compared with Edwards although ironically it looks like Edwards will benefit and is likely to start alongside Kelly and Swift on Saturday.

As for Harriot dear God how much longer before he comes into contention?

Badly torn/pulled hamstring in the abandoned Fulham game. Was nearing fitness before xmas but either broke down again or just pushed himself too much at the wrong time and suffered a relapse.

Don't think he's finished just yet, As I understand it he has recovered from the actual injury but is obviously taking returning to playing as slowly and carefully as possible which is a "luxury" he and the club can now afford this close to the end of the season.

His future will depend on how he is able to step up in pre-season.
