Royals and Racers A report in a North East newspaper on Sunderland`s recent triallist`s states that Tyler Frost has played the 2 matches he is allowed to under the PL 2 rules. Sunderland apparently have been impressed with his performances, and the player has been told by Reading that he has no future at the club- not surprising as they let him go out on trial. Sunderland will now wait until Frost`s contract runs out.
The Royal`s U 23`s next match is on Monday next February 24th against Charlton in the final group A match of the PL 2 cup. The match is at Princes Park Dartford with a 1pm KO. Both teams have qualified out of the group into the last 16 knock out round, however the Royal`s need to win to top the group and get a home fixture. A draw or defeat will mean an away fixture at one of the other 7 group winners.
