"included reference – whether express or implied – to sexual orientation".

I accept that the standard of refereeing in League 1 is shit but saying the ref sucked dick to get to this level is not something I want to hear an employee of the club saying. It was also reported by our head steward so clearly he thought it was out of order as well.

Does this mean we need to sign an assistant kit man on loan as cover for 6 games or will someone have to "play" out of position?

I wonder what he said, if he said the referee was bent that could have meant corrupt, although he admitted the charge so either he said something else or calling the referee corrupt would have been a more serious charge

It doesn't get removed by the site profanity checker so -

Sounds like an appropriate punishment. I hope the club takes it seriously

It happened in August and and it appears the club had an internal enquiry because the head safety steward reported it.

This is FA enquiry is because it wasentioned in the referee's report.

Well, we've all blurted out stuff in the heat of the moment that's instantly regrettable whilst watching the football but if I said that in my workplace whilst representing my employee, I'd expect some form of disciplinary action.

If the allegation proves to be true would that make any difference?.... I'm guessing if it was true he wasn't very good at it to have only got as far as league one.
