Every time he has got on the pitch he's been terrible recently. Contributes nothing.

Being charitable I suppose he's adapting, but looks to me like he's had his flair completely knocked out of him and is now scared to take a man on, so is thinking safety-first must-not-give-away-possession all the time. But that's exactly what he ends up doing.

Arsenal are replete with talent but it looks to me like they are expected to conform to a minimal risk strategy so taking a man on is frowned upon unless they are heading for the byeline. Even Saka is going down that path - gets into the penalty area and looks for a pass.

Obviously it's not working too badly for them but I don't think it's going to suit Eze.

TBF, as a player, you have to take a chance to move to a big club when it comes up otherwise you’ll be wondering “what if” for the rest of your career and Spurs aren’t really in the same ball park as Arsenal. Of course once you’re there, staying there or getting another big club move becomes harder and maybe you find the only way is down, but at least you would have had that go.

Same as any career really just in a more compressed time. But some moves are more risky than others.
