10 of which came last season, with 3 assists - was involved in a goal every 240 mins. so every 2.5 games. Pretty decent season all in. (Season before equated to goal/assist every 288 mins, so involved in approx a 1 in 3 ratio.

Also started 40 of 46 games, coming on as sub in 3 others. So getting 43/46 games (and 40 the year before) shows he can stay fit.
still young enough in his playing career to take a noticeable upward trajectory.

OK Fred, now your a yaga yaga

Yes,

Lisbie an unknown quantity, Kyerewaa pace and poor end product, Lane terrible last season, and Williams injury prone.

I would say you need to move him be of those on first….

Not sure as Richardson doesn't seem to see Lane as a winger.

I still think Lane will come good, and Danny K will have a great season. But it's the hope that kills us.

Wonder if wages were quite high. Lisbie is a 22 year old player coming out of L2, whereas this is a L1 POTS with Championship experience going for his last big contract at 29. Suspect he would have been on a par with Wing / O'Connor for a player who is not even a guaranteed starter. If we didn't match Wycombe's offer, perhaps that's sensible.

Based on which of his qualities? I agree, I think Danny K will kick on.

Handy if you have a mate who can help you boost your wages.

I actually agree on Lane. Kyerewaa is not for me I'm afraid, but who knows maybe he will add something other than pace at some point.

He looked like it was coming together over the festive period when the team was doing well, but didn't recapture it after his injury.

I'm optimistic he can be coached well to be consistent.

If he was a few years younger I would agree, but he's 25 in a few months, and whilst that's not too old if he hasn't got a more consistent final ball by now then his technique is his technique and I can't see him improving it significantly.

Hope he proves me wrong though obviously.

Half decent player DK but seemed very restricted at times and became safety first and defensive. Not helped by tactics - thought best when played just behind the striker

Trouble is, I think the players are being coached to be negative.

He's certainly been inconsistent with his final ball, but his pace is still a real asset because it can cause chaos for defenders. As you pointed out, he's still only 24.

However, I don't remember Lane showing much in terms of form or any particularly positive attributes, and he's already 25. So what gives you the feeling that he can still improve, while DK can't?
