Well, the new season is hardly appealing so why should the friendlies be?
The gaffer is on a retched run of form with the majority of the fanbase against him! I'm pretty sure they've lined up winnable friendlies so as to try and stop the rot and early toxicity against the gaffer!! Also, friendlies are primarily about building up fitness and team cohesion.
