Just been doing some reading on the above Brentford website. Seems that their fans think that Manset could be arriving there on loan - also there's still doubt whether this move for Osborne has actually been agreed or not.

Few reports on twitter saying its not a done deal

We have a reserve game against Brentford today. I wonder if we're giving them an opportunity to check out one or two they might like to take on loan?

We wouldn't have let Morrison go out on loan if someone wasn't on their way in, so I imagine it's close.

According to soccerbase Osborne has not played since the end of October. Must be reasonably serious to have been out for nearly four months.

If we do buy him he may be some way off being fit to play for us and is unlikely to seen as immediate cover for our current CBs. Oh well not to worry we still have Khumalo waiting in the wings!

And there he can stay whilst we have Harte & Gunnarsson as far as I'm concerned.

I know one of the coaches at Brentford he coaches the U18's part-time and also now helps with the Sunday league team I play for. I asked him today about Osbourne and he said the reserve game set up for today was actually so Brentford could look at our younger players with a view of them going there on loan. He said the deal is a possibility but the postponement of this game would have put it back a bit.


He did also add that he didn't think Osbourne was good enough to play for us, then I added that he would be back-up to our current 2 and he said he was still unsure but would be happy to be proved wrong,


So yes there's a definate interest.
